Vidhya is from Bangalore, India.  She was brought into a realisation of her passion for photography by a change of living circumstances in 2009. Since then, she has steadily explored her zest for creativity through photographs. In her own admission, being genre-agnostic enables her to push her limits and explore further as a creator, and she strongly believes that she has not even scratched the surface of this Universe of possibilities.

She loves to travel around the world, photographing life, and feels that photography compensates for her abysmal memory in preserving moments. However, she is also content to shoot in her balcony garden if called to it.

Her work has been published in magazines like Smart Photography Magazine, Classic Imaging Magazine, Ananda Vikatan and also in the prestigious daily The Hindu. She has been awarded the prestigious WADe Asia - Professional Photographer Award for the year 2018, under the Indigenous Art of India category. She is also the Bronze Awardee at the EPSON Intentational Pano Award 2018.
